Flowers for Mothers Day

Good evening girlies
I've had another wee play with the tilda stamp that I won from Mina's blog candy, she seemed just right for a Mother's Day card.
This one covers two challenges out there in blogland this week so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself.
The first one is Colour Create where the challenge is to use shades of blue and brown with the option to add some pearls and lace to your card.
The challenge this week on Charizma Cardz is Pretty Cards for Mum. What is prettier than a little Tilda with a bunch of flowers eh?? The winner this week has the choice of download from Kaboodledoodles . Have you seen their kits? They've some really yummy papers, am drooling just looking at them lol
So, what did I do? Papers are from My Minds Eye Bella Bella range, Flea Market. I just adore these papers and have just used the last of them so a spend is now on the cards lol. Tilda is coloured with prisma pencils and blended although I'm needing much more practise at this technique. Embelishments were all cut with my cricut and the lace and pearls are from my stash.

Susie makes the most beautiful little albums all from her very own dies. Make yourself a coffee before your visit as I'm sure you'll be there for a while.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the candy on the side bar.
I'll be back later with a card hopefully.

Distressed Ian

A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge this week is torn edges.
So I decided to go the whole hog and distress my card too.
It's been such a long time since I've did anything like this that I'm still not too sure what I think of this card lol
Anyway, image is Hello Ian from Greeting Card Farm, papers are from Costco, greetings are computer generated and the brads are from me stash

Just a number

Hi girls
The third challenge on Creative Inspirations is numbers.
I made this card a few weeks ago for one of my daughters friends who was celebrating her 18th birthday.
Sorry for the glare but we all know how hard it is to photograph the dreaded mirri card!
Papers are DCWV, sentiment is computer generated and the cuts were done on my best mate crikey!
Don't forget to check out the candy bar on the side girls, there's some real yummy stuff out there in blogland.
Talking of candy, have you seen what Lorraine at the Crafty Coo has on offer?? Well have you? If not get on over and have a looksie, she is offering candy with a difference, every day for 14 days she will add to her list, there are already some real yummies on there. Check it out soon.

ohhhhhhhh a bare bottom

Helloooooooooooo
I'd an order for a Christening card so thought I'd try to incorporate a couple of challenges out there in blogland while I was making a card anyway.
The first one is for the second challenge over at Truly Scrumptious where they ask that you follow a sketch plus make some buttons as an embellishment. It's sponsored by Sketching Stamper and if your lucky and win you'll get eight free downloads. Have you checked them out yet?? Gorgeous, gorgeous images girls.
The second one is the fourth challenge on The Pink Elephant Easy peasy this week, add some die cuts and ribbon to your card. Ann has made the most gorgeous ribbon holder for the lucky winner.
Papers are from Funky Fairies Cherish Collection, how yummy are these? Image is from a stamp swap so I've no clue about it (sorry) ribbon and brad are from me stash

Funky Fairies Challenge 6 and free papers

Good morning girls
It's Wednesday already and that means a challenge from Funky Fairies We'd like you to use blue on your project for this one. Remember you must use at least one FF item on your project to enter.
This week there's an extra goodie for the winner. As well as a download from the shop the lovely Emma has altered a clock using FF papers and had very kindly donated it as a prize. Check out her blog for a looksie. How gorgeous is that? Well if you want it - you got to be in it to win it as they say.
If you haven't used a download from the Funky Fairies before you are missing out BIG TIME!!!! They print out beautifully, and the choice is fantastic but if your saving the pennies for the SECC this week then there's loads of freebies on the inspirational blog. Again there's an extra Shaz has created a beautiful add on to the Feeling Fruity kit and she's giving it away free!!! It's only available for a few days though so be quick. Head on over to the inspirational blog and grab it quick.

Sketch and Stash Challenge 5

Hi girlies
It's freezing and wet her tonight so I've locked myself in my craft room and made this for the Sketch & Stash Challenge.
They've a lovely sketch to follow for this one, very simple but it works. Some fabby Laura Ashely tapestry stamps will go to the lucky winner of this one. Fingers, legs and everything else crossed lol
My daughter needed a card for one of her friends later in the week so I killed two birds with one stone on this one.
Don't forget to check out the candy on the side bar girls!

Wow 3 Challenges from the one card

I'm getting quite clever at this. Three challenges with one card is my best yet!
1. Sue set the challenge this week over at Pollycraft Isn't her sketch lovely? I'm loving these square layouts just now. As long us you use something from the Pollycraft range you can enter your card.
2. Cute Card Thursday is Animal Magic. An easy one this week, all that's needed is an animal somewhere on your card.
3. Leanne chose the theme this week at Charizma Cards
and would you believe she chose animals.
Thanks for making it so easy this week girls.
As you'll have guessed by now Wilbur is from Pollycraft and the yummy papers are from Funky Fairies Funky meets Shabby Chic range. I printed these onto pearlescent card for a lovely shimmering effect but it's not showing too well in the pic.
I cut the border with my beloved expression, the corner is a diecut and I finished it all of with a little bit of bling!
Don't forget to check out the blog candy on the side bar girls!

One Stop Craft Challenge 18

This week it's 'Simply Stunning' at One Stop Craft Challenge Simply Stunning being a card with no designer papers.
Donna chose the challenge and the
has probably shocked most card makers to the roots with this one lol
Anyway, here's my creation. I used my cricut expression and the Wild Card cartridge, this is a great cart for making shaped cards with matching envies. I kept it simple only adding the toppers which I ran through my cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder, a couple of primas and a gem or two for a wee bit of bling.

An Easter Bucket

A few weeks ago my Mum found these little buckets two for £1 in a pound shop. She bought me six (as if I've time to decorate six) and said 'Won't they be lovely all done out for Easter' A hint or what? lol
So, I spent most of the afternoon playing around with my cricut expression, kebab sticks, small Easter sweeties, creme eggs and a little a pail.
Here's what I came up with.
One down and five to go!!
