a little gift set

Morning girls
I'd the day from hell on Monday and am still feeling the effect this morning. My daughter and hubby both got themselves stuck in the snow here in Glasgow. Joanna was 6.5 hours stuck in her car on the motorway on her way home from a Christmas night out. She'd stayed over in the hotel and only just got out before they closed the road altogether. Some of her workmates were there till yesterday morning, they'd to check in again. Hubby was just slightly longer stuck on a different motorway. As if that isn't enough me bleedin' central heating packed in yesterday and I'm still waiting on an engineer. Not priority as we've no small children or elderly. Well I call -15 a priority wouldn't you!! I tell you I NEVER want to see another snowflake:(

Anyway, rant over so let me tell you about our challenge this week over on Creative Cottage.

MAKE A CHRISTMAS CARD & MATCHING GIFT BAG/BOX

I decided to use the Robbie & Roxanne kit. Those little birdies are cute as buttons. Love them:)
This was actually quite a quick wee project. Once I'd printed everything out it came together in no time. The little bag holds two good sized bottles of shower gel or one and the three bath bombs in the picture. I finished both off with some snowflakes, gems and a ribbon handle for the bag.
This challenge will run for four weeks girls so you've plenty of time to enter and we'll see you back at Creative Cottage on 5th January.

I'm off now for another cuppa just to heat me inky mitts up:)

challenges
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Cupcake Crafts - little red robin
Pile It On - it's all about the wrapping
Creative Card Crew - anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday - use ribbon
Simon Says Stamp - Christmas but no red or green
