Nifty at fifty

Hello girls
We were at our neighbours 50th birthday party last night so I thought I'd show you the card I made for him now that I'm feeling a bit more 'with it' Yes I was feeling a little the worse for wear this morning, tired more than hungover but a few cuppa's later and I'm fine lol
I used Simples by Sandra Dry. He always seems so 'right' for a mans card don't you think?

I coloured the image with my polychromos and added some diamond glaze to his cravat but as usual that doesn't show well in the pic. Papers are from my huge bag from Costco and the eyelets are from me stash.
I'd bought him a nice bottle of malt whisky so as an afterthought I decided to decorate the box to match. I covered the whole box with the same papers, cut some silver grey card to add a bit of dimension to the top and bottom. The label on the front and the tag I cut with the cricut, I then used my cropodile to cut some holes in the sides, added some cord and attached the tag . Sorted!

I'd followed the sketch on Friday Sketchers for my card so I was chuffed this morning to see Allsorts are looking for a tag, ticket or label so my altered bottle box fits into that too:)
