It's fun being a kid & a sneaky peek from Creative Cottage

Morning girls
One more day and the weekend is upon us. One more day and I shall be off on me jollies!!! I'll think of you all often as a lay in the sun (NOT) lol
Before that though let me tell you about this weeks challenge on Totally Papercratfs. It's a nice easy one so let's have no excuses for not playing along.

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'

We're sponsored this week by

and the lucky winner will receive $10 gift cert for their store

I thought this was a smashing image as soon as I saw it, boys will be boys and all that!! Coloured with my trusty copics but omg all those leaves near drove me nuts so in the end I just slopped some colour on them all and blended the whole lot with my palest green! Papers are Basic Grey and the sentiment is a freebie from TLC apart from the 'especially on your birthday' I printed that straight onto me paper. It's the first time I've ran a piece of DP through the printer but I'm quite impressed with the result.

challenges
Creative Card Crew - autumn or fall
A Spoon Full of Sugar - autumn colours

Now it's time for another of Tracy's gorgeous kits. All Christmassy it is too. Have you started on your cards yet? Well even if you have you'll want to get your mitts on these little lovelies. It's called 'Naughty or Nice' and packed full to the brim of Christmas deliciousness! You'll have to wait until it's will be available on 20th of September though as that's when the fabby new Creative Cottage store opens it's doors for the first time

Isn't Santa just the bees knees? It's been such a long time since I did any decoupage so this was a welcome change for me. Don't forget you can win this smashing kit by leaving a comment over at Creative Cottage
Thanks for stopping by girls, happy crafting

Just read your comments about my Suzie - she is a little girl..lol* She's a bit of a baby, and is definitely small for a Westie, but she's not a puppy... she's 9 now!!
