Take one cooks sized matchbox

Morning girls
I want to show you what can be done with a cooks sized box of matches. My lovely teamie Tammy over on Totally Papercrafts showed us one she'd made and challenged us all to make one for each other and fill it with small crafty goodies as a wee Christmas gift. I'd to make a box for Carol and this is the result. I hope she likes it:)

I can't for the life of me remember the name of the papers but I do love the blues and greens, a nice colour combo and not too tradional Christmas either. After I'd coverd the box I made a little easel card for the top with the same papers, cut the snowflake with my cricut and added loads of glitter, well it's got to sparkle hasn't it? All finished off with some flat backed gems and a few beads on the drawer front.
Now that I've had a bash at this I think I'll probaby do it again, it was a fun project, something different from a card.

challenges:
Charisma Cardz - one for the girls
Bunny Zoe Crafts - Christmas but not a card
Die Cut Dreams - anything but a card
MAWTT - more than one fold
Craft Your Days Away - texture
