Stand Tall

Hi girls
Just lil old me again but this time with my Polka Doodles DT card.

Our theme this week is to make a shaped  Christmas card that doesn't include rectangles or squares.
So after having a mooch around Nikky's fab CD's this is what I came up with.

I used Creative Christmas to make this little guy except he ain't so little.  He stands over seven inches tall!!!
 I printed the image from the PDF file in A4 size and used it as a template.  Once I'd cut the first layer out I matted this onto red card stock flipping it over to fold at his hat, Then decoupage the layers to complete and add dimension.  It was a wee bit fiddly in places but well worth the effort I'm chuffed to bits with how this turned out. The pic just doesn't do it justice!!
So that's me effort for this week.  I do hope you'll play along and of course pop over to see the cards from the other girls too:)
