Hellooooooooooooooo
Remember me?
I can't believe it's almost two weeks since I posted on here. Between decorating, getting commissions sorted and preparations for the man in the red suit I've hardly had time to turn around never mind blog, so please accept my humble apologies for not visiting girls.
Anyway, now that we've that out of the way let's talk about me card and the challenge this week over on
Our hostess this week is the lovely Danielle and she's chosen a theme of
LOOKING THROUGH THE WINDOW
Feel free to interpret this as you wish, an aperture card or perhaps and actual window on your card.
We'll leave the decision to you, just have fun and see what you create.
I've used the Magical Winter (2) this week and made an aperture card although it's not showing too well in the pic. I began by printing the backing straight onto me card then cut the aperture to show the little girl checking out the snow covered flowers. I added loads of stickles to the inside so it really sparkles but again because I've taken the pic inside it's not showing:(
I then decorated the front with a frame, a holly garland, some extra bows for some depth and the Christmas trees. Oh and loads of red stickles for the berries:) All in all I'm chuffed with this, it was a bit of a challenge getting the image to sit correctly in the aperture but I got there in the end. So girls, if I can do it so can you so grab those cd's, stamps, copics, whatever tickles your fancy and play along. I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with.
We're also having a well earned break over the Festive Season so you've even longer to play along. Our next challenge will be 6th January. So, until then have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2012:)
