feeling blue

Well no not really but me card is blue today.  

It's not a colour I use enough of to be honest but for some reason I picked up the blue copics when colouring this cutie from Saturated Canary last night and I'm chuffed how she turned out.  So I might just play with some blued again soon.  It's funny how we always seem to stick to the same colour themes isn't it?

Anyway, as I said I used me copics to colour, the papers are from Pretty Tuff CD by Polka Doodles, yip, a male themed one but I love the soft gingham, striped and polka dots of these ones.  It was such a shame to distress them but I wanted a more shabby look for her. A few die cuts from various peeps, some pearls, a Craftworks Cards sentiment and a piece of bakers twine helped pull it all together.

So, since it's raining cats and dogs, windy and then brilliant sunshine this afternoon here in Glasgow I fully intend to have another little play and Mr Tesco can wait till tomorrow lol
