Hello everyone
Hopefully this post finds you well and not at all affected by the horrendous storms these past couple of days. For once, here in Scotland, we have had lovely warm weather.
Not wall to wall sunshine but nice all the same.

Anyway, today I have something that I have been working on for over a week now for the Artbymiran blog. A canvas, not something I am used to doing but I have seen so many lovely ones I thought I would give it a try.
I merged two images, Mermaid Meara and Leomaris then printed them out almost a4 size to fit
this 30cm x 40cm canvas. It took me hours to colour, then a couple more to carefully peel away the backing so I was left with a flimsy enough image to set on the canvas without it looking 'stuck on' I had a few hairy moments I can tell you :)
Lot's of paint, texture, gems and some other bits thrown in for good measure produced the end result
A huge, huge image to colour but I am thrilled with the results and intend to hang it in our little holiday home in Turkey on our next visit.
Thanks for popping in
