day dreamin'

Morning girls
It's another cold one here but thank goodness we've non of the white stuff so far.  I'm hoping it stays that way too.  There's nothing worse than trudging through the streets of sludge or worse still sliding your way to the shops when it's iced over.  Why oh why don't I drive lol

My card today is for Whimsy Inspirations challenge

This week we'd love to see
FANCY EDGES

Now that's a nice easy one so hopefully you'll find the time to play along

ingredients
image  - Marika Collins Collection via Whimsy Stamp Store
papers - Sherry k Designs
brads and pin  - Wild Orchid Crafts
sentiment - Sparkle n Sprinkle
flowers from stash
 dies - Marianne Designs
copics

I'm keeping this short and sweet this morning as I've a few commissions to get out over the next day or so, so best crack on.  Housework first then hopefully an afternoon of colouring should set me on the right road.

cocktails anyone?

Hi girls
Hope your enjoying some much needed sunshine.  It's not sunny here in Glasgow but it's warm and dry so far today so fingers crossed it stays like this.  I love my garden but this year I've lost sooooo many lovely plants due to the sodden ground that it's just an eyesore rather than something to enjoy.  I'm hoping for a few more dry days so I can get out there and give it some tlc.  All that's growing well is the moss lol

Anyway today is my fourth DT spot for Papertake Weekly
The challenge this week is
MAKE YOUR OWN
so, let's see those hand made embellies on your cards girls.

...and here's my effort:)  It has to be Stella doesn't?  She's my kind of sassy gal!!!

I made some tiny rolled flowers with some white seed beads added to their centres..
Ingredients

sentiment - Polka Doodles

It's a nice easy one this weeks girls so do play along if you have the chance.

Just Smile...

Hi girls
I've another cutie from Inky Impressions to show you today.
This will be my first post on the Inspirational Blog so I'm hoping you'll pop over and leave me a wee comment there too:)

Anyhoooooooooo this is Lili's  Chalkboard.  Isn't she a sweetie?

She was stamped twice so I could pop dot the chalkboard for a bit of added depth and then coloured  up with copics.  I then added a sentiment from Sparkle n Sprinkle.  That's what's so fab about this stamp you can have any greeting to match the occassion.  Cool eh?
The papers are from Sherry K,  a Marianne Design flower and leaves die added some extra ooph to the flowers.  Lace, ric rac and ribbon from me stash and the greeting on the little tag is pc generated.
So, there she is all done and dusted, hopefully you like her as much as I do:)

bright and bold

Morning girls
Four more sleeps and I'm leaving on a jet plane!!!  I can't wait:)  Two weeks of relaxation in Turkey is just what the doctor ordered.  Did I say I can't wait?  Just in case you misread, I can't wait!!!!
So, seeing as it's Monday it's time for a new challenge over on Karen's Doodles.  The lovely Dorte chose our theme this week and she'd like to see some

bold and bright cards

This is Computer Girl, pretty as a picture isn't she? I've coloured with copics and paper pieced her clothes with these fab papers from Sherry K Designs.  I've kept this quite plain and simple as those papers really are loud but the pic isn't showing that.  I'm finding I'm losing some of the sharpness from my pics if I've to crop out too much background:(  A couple of flowers cut with my cricut, one of which I added the sentiment to, a bit of stickles in the centres and some ribbon to finish.
That's my effort for this week girls, please pop over and see the other girlies on the DT too, they've all made wonderful cards.
challenges:
Craftyanns - Happy Birthday
Frosted Designs - use ribbon
The Corrosive Challenge - birthday
Incy Wincy - clean and simple
