Happy Monday to you:) I'm not really distressed I was just giving you a little clue about this weeks challenge over on Karen's Doodles.
Well I am a wee bit distressed if I'm honest and disappointed too. I know you all buy the images so why aren't you entering the challenges? Don't you want to win at least three of these gorgeous digi's? Come on girls, play along, you can combine it with other challenges too so long as you use one of Karen's cuties:)
Anyway, enough bleating from me let's get onto the challenge which is
DISTRESSING (as if you haven't guessed)
This is one of my all time favourites of Karen's images. It's called Tango and can be purchased in the store. I've coloured with my copics, it took me ages lol as I kept adding another little bit of shading here and there but I'm happy enough with it now. These yummy papers are from Memory Box available from Crafty Emma's store. I tell you it was very difficult to distress these, I mean VERY DIFFICULT!!!!! I ran my scissors along the edges and then added some blue and green pigment ink. I then cut some circles with my cricut and gave them the same treatment, damped them a little then squashed them to bits before opening them out again and adding a little brad to the centre. I completed the card by adding three little turquoise dew drops to the top corner.
So, whose up for the challenge? If you'd like some more inspiration then pop over to my lovely teamies blogs, you'll not be disappointed I promise:) AND this week the kids are playing along too. Please take a trip over to the kids challenge blog to see their fab cards
