Cute as a button

 Morning girls
It's been gorgeous here these past few days so I'm hoping for a nice weekend to get me garden tidied at little.  It's a right sorry state after the severe winter we've had.  Roll on spring, I think it's on the way at last:)
So, being as it's Friday, it's time for a new challenge on Totally Papercrafts and this week we'd like to see

CUTE AND CUDDLY
we're sponsored by the Stamp Fairy

Do you think this is cute and cuddly enough?  I think so anyway lol.  I've been really busy this past couple of weeks so I'm afraid I cheated a little and used and image from one of  the My Craft Studio cds.
The papers and cupcake brad are both Dovecraft, sentiment is Sparkle n Sprinkle, ric rac, lace and buttons are from my stash.
Do remember to pop over to my  teamies blogs for a looksee too girls, they've all made gorgeous cards.

 challenges
Creative Card Crew - no stamps
Cooking it up with Katie - animals and colourful buttons
Digital Tuesday - button up

Less is More

Morning girls
Here I am again trying my utmost to make a simple card for the third challenge on Less is More.  It's sooooooooooo difficult not to put papers and lots of embellies on but all in all I'm quite pleased with this one.  I certainly need more practise but I will keep playing:)

The theme this week is spring so I started off by printing the sentiment straight onto the card.  Yes, I know, the 'S' is a bit squinty:(  So that was my first mistake although believe it or not I didn't notice it till I'd loaded the photo on here.  Funny how the camera picks up what the naked eye doesn't isn't it.  Sometime they're our worst enemy lol.
The tulips are a graphic from My Craft Studio which I printed then cut with a 2" circle punch and added to a layer of pink card stock. I then added a little bit of stickles for some sparkle:)  A wee bit of ribbon and some gems from my stash finished it off.
So, how did I do this week girls?  All constructive criticism greatly received:)

 other challenges:
Charisma Cardz - spring has sprung
Allsorts - inspired by nature
A Spoon Full of Sugar - birthday wishes

The sponsor this week is the lovely Heidi from

This gorgeous Happy Hoppers stamp is up for grabs girls

Wish I could enter myself, it's a cutie alright!!!

Anyway, onto me card which I'm not too happy with but as I was running late already I didn't have time to do another one. I used MCS Wings and Things CD.

Do you ever search through your stash and think - 'oh that'll be lovely' Then what's in your head doesn't appear on your card? Well that's what I did here. I think it's the bird, he needs a little shading or something!!! Don't know what the 'or something' could be lol so any suggestions lets hear them:)

I'm also entering this into the challenge over on C R A F T which is ribbon & sparkle

Christmas in August

Hi girls
It's still blooming raining here:( I want some sunshine to brighten me day lol
Anyway, seeing as how I'm stuck indoors I've made another card with My Craft Studio, am getting to like how quickly I can knock these out!! Especially for Christmas as we all have so many of them to make.

Isn't this little fella the cutest reindeer ever. I love him, great for a fun card. Look at the expression on his face, befuddled or what lol and I've managed some challenges to boot so am a happy bunny at the moment.

Mum's Birthday card

Hi girls
It's my Mum's birthday on Thursday and I've only now got around to making here card. Talk about leaving things to the last minute lol
I had a wee play with My Craft Studio and my new cd No Stamp Required and this is the result.

Photobucket

Rather than go digital which I'm not that great at to be honest I printed everything out and made this as you would a normal card. I added some more colour in places with my copics, added a few parchment flowers to the centres of the printed ones, some stickles and a few flat backed gems to finish it off.

Hopefully she'll like it:)

1. Sketch and Stash - follow sketch
2. - Allsorts - An English Country Garden
3. Papertake Weekly - choose a past challenge (Hearts/Flowers 2nd February

No Stamp Required

Good morning girlies
It looks to be another lovely day here. So, since I've been working these past few days I'm going to spend it in the garden, it's needing a wee tidy up anyway. Of course there is the blog hop to be done first while I have me two or three morning cuppas lol

I've just managed to lose me new siggy from this post lol, don't ask me what I clicked on as I've no clue but I'll just carry on and sort it later. It's a bit on the big side anyway!
So, onto the card. I had a wee play last night with My Craft Studio it's supposedly for making digital cards but I printed everything out and layered it up as normal. This one is a lovely cd - No stamp Required, full of lovely fairies and flowers. Both coloured and black and white ready for what ever colouring medium you choose. I've coloured the roses with my copics and added a tiny amount of stickles for a little sparkle.
I've also managed to cover four challenges, not bad for a card that started out following a sketch lol

1. Friday Sketchers - sketch
2. One Stop Crafts - roses
3. The Secret Crafter - bugs
4. Simon Says - ribbons and bows

My first ever challenge card

This is a card I made for the Thursday challenge over at http://charismacardz.blogspot.com/ It's also the first time I've entered any of my work into a blog challenge and am feeling nervous now lol but nothing ventured is nothing gained as they say.
The backing paper is from the Walk in Wonderland selection of My Craft Studio, stamp is coloured with prisma pencils and blended although this is a technique I need more practise at. The frames, flowers and flourishes are all cut with my beloved cricut expression.
