a bit of hip hop

Morning girls
I've been awake since silly o'clock.  It's now 7.30 am and I''m  already on my second cuppa, have done all my DT comments, the washing machine is on, the sun is shining and I'm done in!  Why oh why does my body clock feel the urge to wake me up so early?  It's the weekend, I should be having a lie in lol

Anyway, let's get onto today's card.  Another one for my friend, it's for her daughter to give to her dance teacher.  Hip hop was the brief so this image was perfect

Isn't she brilliant?  You'll find her over on Mayzy Art
Everything else was bits n bobs from me stash.  I was on a using up what I have mood with this one.
Have s smashing weekend girls.

lovely lilac

Morning girls
Hope your all fine and dandy, ready to face the day.
Today's card is for one of my friends who wanted a card with a rock n roll theme.
I'd to search around a bit for an image I liked and finally settled on this gorgeous girl.

She's adorable isn't she?  I just loved the expression on her face.  So sweet and innocent:)

cute as a button

Morning girls
My thoughts and prayers lie with all those affected by the devastating tornado and storms which struck in Oklahoma yesterday.  I'm forever complaining about our awful weather here in Scotland but we're so lucky not to suffer the loss of precious life and such devastation due to the weather.  My heart goes out to those who lost their loved ones and their homes.

Today's card is for our new challenge on Crafty Sentiments Designs and this week it's all about buttons.
So if you fancy playing along make sure you add a couple or three to your creation.

My niece asked if I could make a baby boy card for her so I managed to kill two birds with one stone.  Isn't it brilliant when it works out that way?
I'm keeping this short and sweet as I've a few cards that need doing so I want to get on this morning then get out in the lovely sunshine seeing as we finally have some.
Happy Crafting

Spring into spring

Morning girls
The weekend is here at last.  Is it too early for a wine do you think?  I could do with a bottle or two this morning lol.  Totally got out of bed the wrong side so I'll get right to me card.

It's for the new challenge on Polka Doodles.  Our theme this week is

SPRING COLOURS

I found a fab template, well lots of them over on Mel Stampz and couldn't resist this gorgeous little gift bag.
Easy to do too.  I printed my paper from  Pen and Paper kit 5, flipped it over and printed the PDF onto the other side, cut it out and put it together.  I honestly couldn't believe how quick it was to do.
The cute honey bee and sentiment are from the Sugarplum Fairy CD.  Again a quick print and stick.
All in all I'd the whole thing done in under an hour.  Now that's my kinda crafting!!!
Happy weekend
