Hi girls
Sorry for the lack of visits but I'm still giving me son some tlc after his two recent hospital stays.  He's well on the mend now though thank goodness.  Actually begining to look a bit more like himself although his voice is still a little weak but it all takes time eh??
I've  an Inky Impressions card for you tonight.  Crafting has kept me sane these past few weeks although I'll admit to messing up a DT card or two!!!  It's just as well I craft alongside some very understanding ladies I'll tell ya or I'd have been out in me bum lol

I love this little cutie and I think the sentiment is brilliant, what a nice way to let someone know your thinking of them at Christmas.

As always I've coloured with copics and these gorgeous papers were part of the candy I won from Mandy a few weeks back.  I just adore traditional Christmas cards so these are right up my street.
Also, for the whole of March Inky Impressions challenges are being sponsored by Robins Nest who have given the team some fabulous rub ons.  I couldn't wait that long though as I just knew they'd be perfect for this card.  They have a vintage look about them so matched perfectly with me distressing and papers.
So, that's me lot for tonight girls.  I'm away to hibernate in front of the telly for a while as it's a wet, wild,  and windy night here.
Thanks for stopping by

ribbons and bows

Hi girls
This is my second post for today so please scroll down for my Polka Doodles DT card.

This one is for the new challenge which went live this morning over on Totally Papercrafts so hopefully I'll inspire you to play along with the ribbons and bows theme the lovely Linda has chosen this week.
We've a new sponsor for you too, with a very generous prize so all the more reason to join the fun.

For my card I've used the freebie that Krista of Saturated Canary very kindly gave out last week.
Isn't she adorable?  I love all her images and have a new favourite almost daily lol

As always my preferred colouring medium is copics although I've gone for some less vibrant colours than normal but I'm pleased with how she turned out.
I used my Marianne Designs die for the tall flowers and punched the other using my daisy punch.  Smart ass here then didn't have any brads to match so I covered three old ones from my stash with a good dollop of pearlised paint and pushed some seed beads into them.  They are lovely irl it's just a pity the pic hasn't picked them up too well.  Guess who will now be using up all the old brads in her stash!!
Papers and sentiment are from Polka Doodles.
challenges:
Crafty Catz - favourite things (flowers and ribbon)
Delicious Doodles - pink to make the boys wink
Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - anything goes with ribbon

ohhhhhhh a sneaky peep

Morning girls
I've my Polka Doodles DT card for you this morning.  It's my turn to host the challenge this week and I've a recipe for you all to follow.  I've made it nice and easy too so I hope you'll play along.

1 X IMAGE 2 X PAPERS 3 X EMBELLISHMENTS
you can use either three of the same of three different embellies

What do you think of this little lady then?  Cute as a button isn't she?  Watch the shop for details of when she'll be arriving.  I've coloured her with copics and  used my prisma pencils for the grass.
I've used the Candy Doodles CD for the papers and the little butterfly which I printed twice onto some vellum and decoupaged.  I've stitched this onto the card through the pearls as I didn't want to risk the glue showing through. A ribbon and a few little flowers with pearls for their centres completed my three embellies.
Don't forget to pop over and see the other girls cards too, there's lots of inspiration to be had this week for sure.  Oh and play along:)
I'll see you later with my Totally Papercrafts card.
Thanks for dropping by

something very different

Hi girls
I've something very different for me to show you.  I've been playing around for a day or two now with my first ever attempt at a scrapbook page.  A vintage one at that!!!
All the paper elements are from  K & Co, Amy Butler range and are available from Mishelflo.
The lace, elastic, button and fasteners are from me sewing box and flowers from me crafty stash.
I love how some girls can create this look with ease but I was an age at this faffing around, moving bits and pieces, not liking it and starting again but I'm happy with it now.  What do you think?

Less is More

Hi everyone
It's not often I get the chance to play around just for fun but today I decided I needed some me time and fiddled around between PAINT.net and Greeting Card Factory.  The result, a card for the Less is More challenge which this week is a one layer card incorporating stripes.

The striped circle is from  one of the papers on the Pretty Sweet CD by Polka Doodles, image is from Greeting Card Factory and the sentiment is computer generated.  You've no idea how long a played around with this till I was happy with the layout.  I could've stamped and coloured an image and put a card together faster lol  Who said digital is easy?
Thanks for popping in

Birthday wishes

Morning girls
It's my turn to give out some Inky Inspiration this morning.
I'm so sick of all the valentine and love cards that are doing the rounds at the moment so I thought I'd just do a plain old birthday card.  I just needed a break from all this lovely dovey stuff lol

Meet the gorgeous Lili's Stuffed Bunny:)

Now is she cute or is she cute?  You'll find her and loads of others over at the Inky Store
I began by choosing these papers which are a mix of bits and bobs from me stash box.  It's not often I manage to match up enough to use but hey ho and away we go was the order of the day.  I then cut the little fence and tree with my cricut, added a few pearls to the leaves, coloured her up with copics to match and generated the sentiment on my pc which I then hung on the fence.
A wee bit different from what I normally do but I'm pleased with the end result

Hi girls
I've just been on one of my DT blogs where one of the girls passed on this link
It seems we're losing Google Friends connect on 28th of this month so will lose our followers too.
A bit of a pain in the ar$e if you ask me but I'm going to try out the new Mr Linky thingy as I don't want to lose touch with all of you girls who regularly leave me comments:(
So I've added a new button over there-------->
Don't forget to sign up:)
