A little bit of sassy

Hiya Girls
It's that time of the month where it's my turn to host the Art by MiRan blog and the theme for the month is to use fibres of some sort.
There is a tiny wee bit, look close, you'll see them hanging from the flowers :)

This is Sassy Sylvia.  Isn't she gorgeous
You'll find her and lots more loveliness over at the  Art by MiRan store
Papers are Echo Park.
Thanks for popping in

seeing red...

Hellooooooooooo

It's time for a new challenge over on All Dressed Up and us Dressy Girls would be fair chuffed if you played along this fortnight.  To be honest it's not one of my favourite themes as I always find it very difficult not to add more colour.

MONOCHROMATIC
but I gave it my best shot

Excuse the crap pic too.  I'd to take this indoors due to the gales we've endured here all week.  Thus the light has caught her hair and made my shading look awful.  I promise it doesn't look like really:(

image - All Dressed Up
papers - Echo Park
Spellbinders
copics
gems from stash

So, who's game to try it out and win some of Wendy's fabulous images?   I've seen some gorgeous monochromatic cards both on blogs and Pinterest so I just knows you can do it!!
Oh and keep your eyes peeled too for some more gorgeousness from Wendy which will be showcased later on this week over on the blog and our Facebook Group

toastin' man

Morning girls
Here we are at Friday already.  This week just seems to have flown by, I just never seemed to have enough hours in the day to get done what was needed or have much time left to craft either.  I was hoping to get in front with some of my DT work but hey ho that didn't happen either.  So guess who;s going to need to get her finger out over the weekend.
So, this is me first post of the day and it's for our new challenge over on Totally Papercrafts.
The theme this week is

HERE COMES SUMMER
sponsored by

button it

Morning girls
What was with the grotty weather all weekend?  It was horrid here in Glasgow, especially yesterday, it rained on and off the whole day.  Still it let me me get in front a little with my DT cards and I even got as far as printing and starting to colour a few other images which hopefully will find their way onto some cards this week.
Anyway enough of the waffle.  Seeing as it's Monday that means it's time for me and my teamies to set you a new challenge over on Karen's Doodles and it's a nice easy one too.
We'd like to see some
BUTTONS & BOWS

I've used Bovine Beauty for my card this week.  I think she's one of my absolute favourites of Karen's images but you'll need to excuse the rubbish pic.  It was so dark and dismal here yesterday this was the best of  over twenty believe it or not.  I was pulling my hair out in the end grrrrrrrrrrr.
Coloured with copics, papers are Echo Park, dew drops, ribbon and button from me stash.

challenges:
Card Cupids - buttons and/or ribbon
Sparkles Forum - one for the girls
Crafts and Me - anything goes

Eyes down...............

Morning girls
Anyone fancy a game of bingo?
I'm hopeful the answer is yes as that's the challenge this week on Totally Papercrafts.
Pick a Line, any line and add these items to your creation.
Simples!!!
A line in any direction, the choice is yours but please let us know which ones you've chosen in your post.
Our Sponsors for this week

and the lucky winner will have the choice of 7 digital stamps.  Generous or what????
Here's my creation.  I've gone for 1 down, brads, buttons and die cuts.

How cute is this little fella?  I needed a 1st birthday card, well a few of them actually for Saturday and thought he was perfect.  Once I'd him coloured with copics I couldn't resist adding those googley eyes inside his sun specs.  I've made sure they're well secured though and I'll also tell Mum not to let him play just to be sure.
Papers are from Echo Park, Sidewalk Chalk range.  I've been buying quite a bit of these recently especially when they sell for $1 on a Wednesday.  Who doesn't love a bargain?
Anyway, that's my effort for this one. Do pop over to the challenge blog and see the other DT girlies creations.  I promise you won't be disappointed.
challenges:-
Crafting for all Seasons - red white and blue
Crafts and Me - birthdays
Scrapbook Sisters - summer fun

Frame It

Morning girls
Well the sun is peeping out a little already so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a dryish day here again so I can finally finish weeding the garden.  It's been a right sorry state recently with all the rain we've had here.  So you can guess what I'll be doing later today.  I'd much rather do some crafting but needs must lol
It's that time of the week too when we set a new challenge for you all over on Karen's Doodles but firstly I want to make sure you all know about her fabulous new images which have been added to the store in the past few days.  So, if you've not been over for a looksie yet I'd get over real soon as there are some crackers perfect for all those summer challenges out there just now.

Now  the challenge for this week which is ..................
FRAME IT

Isn't she the bees knees!!!

This is Swimsuit01, notice the 01, yes there are a couple more of these beauties.  I've coloured as usual with copics, papers are Echo Park, aren't they lush?? Sentiment is a freebie from the lovely Paulette at TLC, frame cut on cricut (Wild Card cart) and the other bits and bobs are all from me stash.
So that's my effort for this week girls.  Do pop over to see what the other girls on the DT have created for your inspiration this week and of course we'd love it if you played along too.
