Here's my card for this week.

I've gone all CAS with this one but I do like it and it was a nice change to paper piece rather than colour.

it's snowing

Hiya Dressy's

It's challenge time at All Dressed Up and as always the theme is 

ANYTHING GOES

I thought I'd do a little Christmas candle for a change.  I coloured the snowman up with my graphics programme then printed it out onto some tissue paper.  Cutting carefully just outside the lines and then heating with my heat gun underneath some baking paper.  Whilst the candle was still hot I added some frantage to the baking sheet and rolled the candle up again and gave it another quick blast. Job done!!

All that was left to do was add a doily to a spare CD, add a few little snowballs and the job was done.

Quick, simple and effective :)

I'm almost all carded out to be honest and have been scouring the net for something else to try my hand at :)  I've a feeling it's going to be napkin decoupage so watch this space for my first attempt at that one.

Evening everyone
Second post of the day and I'm praying Mr Blogger plays nice and posts this for me as right now I'm mid flight to our wee place in Turkey :)

It's time for a new challenge over on All Dressed Up and we've decided to change things around a wee bit.  From now on all of our challenges with be ANYTHING GOES.  Sometimes we may add a little twist but that won't be a compulsory part of the challenge but using an All Dressed Up image will be.

Morning everyone

Happy Sunday :)  Mine will be spent decorating (sigh)  We are decorating our bedroom and it seems to be taking forever and a day so I've not had a whole lot of crafty time  lately.

I did however make time to do this quick card for the new Christmas release over on All Dressed Up.

Once again Wendy has surpassed herself and cuteness overload doesn't cover it.

I have used three little Christmas girls.  They are also available to purchase on their own.

I printed this quite large to fit more or less onto a 5.5" square card and coloured with copics.  I then mounted onto a red backer and that was more or less it.  Why embellish what is already gorgeous eh?

All dressed Up are ebing featured in issue 51 of Complete Cardmaking and guess who has a card in ?

Yip little old moi :)

Complete Cardmaking is UK's first magazine which is solely dedicated to digital crafting, and each edition is jam packed with gorgeous goodies on a CD rom for us to use in our crafting.  So, think lovely papers and cute digital stamps etc and your on the right track

I used some of the papers and digital images to make this card in a box.

There are some other makes from my very talented teamies over on the All Dressed Up blog today too so be sure to pop over for a  look see.

As for me, well I'm getting there.  It's a slow process though and, I am bored stiff, yet can't be bothered to do anything.  Even the though of making a card or two fills me with dread.  I'm hoping this passes sooner rather than later and I get back to some form of normality in the very near futute.

Evening girls
It seems like an absolute age since I posted anything but I have a very good excuse.  I've been in hospital for two weeks, very ill with double pneumonia.  It seems  there is a horrible virus going around the middle east and the docs are certain I caught it whilst on holiday in Turkey which two weeks later attacked my lungs leaving me extremely ill.  Thankfully I'm over the worst now although I'm very, very tired and lethargic and cannot be bothered to do much which is not like me at all but onwards and upwards as they say:)

Anyway, thankfully I had this card done for the new release showcase posts over on All Dressed Up.  

Wendy has once again drawn up a storm with five fantastic new images for us to colour.

It's showcase time once again over on All Dressed Up .  As always, Wendy our lovely illustrator, has four gorgeous new digis for you and can I just say they are all fantastic!!!
        

                     This is Best Teacher Ever and you'll find him in the All Dressed Up Etsy Store.

Don't ask me where the apple shaped card came from!!  I'd a flash of inspiration whilst I was colouring up this little fella.  Googled apple templates and made the shaped card.  The little pencils are kebab sticks cut to size and coloured with copics.  Well, it worked for me :)

We also have a blog hop going on at the moment in celebration of our  lovely illustrator Wendy's birthday.  You have the chance to win two digital images of your choice on each of our blogs plus there are a couple of special prizes up for grabs too so do hop along with us

Once again I've coloured with Spectrum Noirs.  I'm a bit on the fence with them.  Love how they blend but no matter what I try I can't seem to get 'flicks' on the hair.  As you can see from this it's a bit thick looking in places.  Does that make sense?  Any tips would be most gratefully received :)

It's the first day of my holiday so I'm hoping that Mr Blogger plays nicely ad posts this for me.

Today, I want to share my card which has been published in the latest issue of Through The Craft Room Door online magazine.

Through The Craft Room Door is an electronic magazine packed with articles, tutorials and inspiration for all the paper crafters out there.  That is you and me :)
