Totally Papercrafts - challenge 7

Happy Monday girls
Have you all had a great weekend? Isn't it great to see some sunshine, even though it's not that warm if sure lifts the mood:) Let's hope that's the end of the white stuff!!

Thanks to everyone who played along last week with our Mother's Day/Special Lady challenge over on Totally Papercrafts. We had a blast checking out all your wonderful cards.
Hopefully you'll all play along again this week. Our theme is:-

'Things With Wings'
and are sponsored by Digi Stamp Oasis

With all the cute Easter images around at the moment it was difficult to choose an image but in the end I opted for this little cutie patootie from Lexi's Doodles. This is Lillie, isn't she sweet with her little egg hat? There are another couple of her so no doubt you will see her again soon. Papers are DCWV Citrus Stack and I've left the card plain with no embellies as the papers are loud enough lol
So, there it is girls, don't forget to check Totally Papercrafts blog too to see the other girls gorgeous cards and of course you may just be the winner:)

I'm also entering this into these challenges:

My Time to Craft - Kidz Kardz
Die Cut Dreams - Easter

Lexi's Creations - challenge 8

Good morning girls
Thanks to everyone who joined in with the last challenge over on Lexi's Creations. Hopefully your ready to play along with challenge number eight which we've kept nice and simple this time by leaving the choice up to you. That's right girls, it's an open challenge, create whatever tickles your fancy.

It's also time for the lovely Joanna Sheen to sponsor us again with her usual £10 gift voucher, all the more reason to play along. Of course you don't need to use one of Lexi's images but it would be wonderful if you did. Have you seen her latest cuties?
This is one, I love butterflies so was eager to use this little beauty as soon as I seen it. I've coloured it with my sakura stardust pens and a sprinkling of glamour dust.

Papers are K & Co Sparkly Sweet range and everything else I had lying around in my ever growing stash. The little brads in the centre of the flowers where white but they just didn't do it for me when I added them then I remembered the tutorial by Lauren Meader on how to colour just about anything with your copics. So, guess what I did? Yip, coloured them yellow. Girls you really must try this, easy as pie!!!! and it also now fits with their challenge :)
So, onto the challenges.............

Copics Creations - colour your embellies
Sketch Saturday - sketch
One Stop Crafts - make a wall hanging
Simons Says - recipie

We'd like you to make a male card using the colours blue and green.

I've used the very handsome Ali drawn by Lexi's fair hand. Isn't he the cool dude standing there with his football? DP's, old bits and bobs from a couple of years back but I'm making an effort to use up my stash before buying more papers. What do you think of the little footballs? They're stickers I found in Poundland just before Christmas, I knew they'd come in handy one day lol and some nice new brown ribbon I bought the other day along with loads more as I'm running low.

Lexi's Ctreations 2nd Challenge and winner of challenge 1

Can you believe it's been two weeks since Lexi set her first ever challenge out there in blogland.
Thanks so much to everyone who entered, we had a really good turn out and hope to see you all again this time around

Sorry girls but you all know there can only be one winner and the winner of the first challenge on Lexi's Creations is DEENA. Thank you for playing along Deena, be sure to contact Lexi to collect your prize.
and a wee extra surprise
RUBY
you have been chosen as our GD for next week, please can you also contact Lexi so she can get the image out to you:)

Now onto this weeks challenge but first of all let me tell you that we have the fantastic Joanna Sheen as our sponsor this week!!!! Yes girls, £10 to spend on some loverly new stash!!!!
So, onto the challenge, we were given the gorgeous Paulo this week with instructions to make a shaped card. OMG, if it's one thing I hate making it's got to be shaped cards!!!! Don't ask me why, they just don't float me boat lol but my Cricut came to the rescue as usual. I always seem to start with one of the cartridges when I'm stumped and this was no exception.

So, I cut the star shaped card from the Wild Card Cartridge at 5.5" layered on some DCWV Christmas stack papers then another white pearlised piece of card stock which I faux stitched then decoupaged little Pengy and her (yes girls, my Pengy is a female lol) tree into it. I finished her off with some glittery accessories, a few punched snowflakes and a few flat backed pearls from my stash. Better still she covers a few challenges out there this week too.

2. Paper Cutz - anything goes this week
3. The Secret Crafter - Christmas Trees
