I know it's here somewhere...

Morning girls

Hope your all fine and dandy.  I'm still sunning myself in Turkey so once again the fingers are crossed that Mr Blogger plays ball and posts on my behalf.

Saturday means it's time for my guest design spot on Meljen's Designs.

How cute is this?  I loved the thought of this poor critter searching for his bone.
We'd a tiny little Yorkie years ago who was forever digging holes in the garden, she never buried anything though just left us holes to be filled all over the place.

mellow yellow

Morning girls

Ten more days to go in this glorious sunshine:)  I sooooooooo love out little bit of Turkey that I really don't want to come home.  I could happily sit on the terrace colouring away every day.

Anyway I've another card from Meljen's Designs for you this morning.  I've really enjoyed my guest design spot with them.  It's always nice to use new images isn't it?

As you can see I've gone CAS with this.  The sunflower is so bright and cheery I decided that adding coloured papers and embellies would distract from it totally so just used a Marianne Design die to frame it and a sentiment from Sparkle n Sprinkle and left it at that.

Hope you like it:)

double trouble

Morning girls

I've been keeping a little secret from you all.

The lovely Dee of Meljen's Designs invited me to be a guest designer for the month of June.  Of course I just had to accept and today is my first showcase:)

I'd a job and a half choosing some images to work with but these cuties fell into the basket straight away.

Victorian Christmas

Morning girls

We've a corker of a challenge for you this week on Totally Papercrafts.

So, seeing as it's the lovely Victoria's turn to set the theme she's gone for...

VICTORIAN

yes, I hear you groaning girls!!!  I feel your pain, been there and done that lol

Our sponsor for this week is

and the lucky winner will get to choose four digital images from their vast range.

Here's my effort

I really didn't know where to start with this one then I remembered some vintage style ATC sheets I've had in me stash since the year dot.  So I inked them up and layered them onto a piece of green paper that's been laying in me bits box for an age too.  Then I got to colouring the image using traditional reds and greens and I think I almost nailed it lol.  The poinsietta flowers were cut from another ATC and layered up for some added depth.  A bit of cream lace which I now wish I'd inked a little too completed the card.

I tell ya, this is so out of my comfort zone but what's a challenge if it doesn't challenge us right?

Do pop over to the challenge blog for loads more inspiration from my lovely teamies and of course, play along with us if you'd like.

I'll be back later with my Polka Doodles DT card too, so toodle pip till then:)

Morning girls

It's another dark dismal one here in Glasgow.  It's going to be a long winter me thinks!!

I hate getting up in the morning when it's still dark and could happily hibernate till spring lol

Anyway being as today is Friday, it's time for our new challenge on Totally Papercrafts

and we're sponsored this week by

and the lucky winner will get to choose 4 digi's

Our challenge this week gave us all a bit of a headache so fingers crossed you enjoy it and play along.

USE ACETATE

I just adore snowmen on Christmas cards so this cutie patootie is perfect for me.

I've kept it plain and simple, white card run through the cuttlebug.  Same with the sentiment and everything backed by silver mirri card that's been lurking in me stash forever.  I coloured as usual with copic markers, added some glittery white flock to his fur trims and a wide white ribbon.

Can you spot the acetate?  Look closely now.  It's there, I promise.!  I cut the snowflakes (from acetate) with my cricut, glittered them up and added a clear dew drop.  woooohooooooo job done!

Do pop over to see the other girls creations, as I said we'd a bit of a headache with this one but they've all come up trumps and made some gorgeous cards.

Thanks for popping in, have a fab weekend

It's dark, dismal and wet here in Glasgow.  I think we've had our summer:(  Mr Sunshine has most definitely not got his hat on, a mac and brolly would be more appropriate, oh and some wellies too.  It depresses the life out of me, I hate dank, dark days but what can you do eh?

Anyway, being Friday it's time for a new challenge over on Totally Papercrafts.

FOOD and DRINK

and it's time for our monthly sponsorship from Meljen's Designs too

So, another Christmas card for me box is made as I just loved this image.  I could quite happily have a few sips of that creamy hot chocolate right now:)
I've coloured as usual with copics, the papers I think are Imaginisce, they're left overs from last year so am being a good little crafter and using up me stash too:)  Sentiment is from Sparkle n Sprinkle and the brads are also left overs from last years Christmas bits and bobs.
So that's my effort for this week girls, do pop by my teamies for some gorgeous eye candy and bucket loads of inspiration, oh, and remember to play along too:)

What about this weather too, it's seriously getting on me goat now.  Great big drops of rain one minute, sunshine the next and mighty strong winds to boot.  It's the middle of May!!! Roll on 21st when I'm off to Turkey for some sunshine.  Goodness knows what my house will be like when I get back though as DD will no doubt have her friends around.  So long as she cleans if for me coming home then I'll never know right???

Enough of the chatter, it's time to let you know about our challenge on Totally Papercrafts this week.  Our lovely new teamie Cathy is hosting and it's all about
